It is estimated that every 18 seconds a senior will fall and 35% of people over the age of 65 will suffer a fall that will lead to a hip fracture, knee, low back or wrist injury.

Practical Fitness & Wellness offers a special series of ten 1-hour classes designed to decrease the risk of falls by incorporating several key components including:

  • Balance Exercises
  • Core & Overall Strengthening
  • Power Training – improving the ability to generate a force quickly and increase speed and reaction time
  • Posture Training
  • Gait Coaching
  • Reaction/Power Drills
  • Flexibility

All classes are taught by a certified Practical Fitness & Wellness instructor who is specifically trained to work with older adults.
