Jason Greenspan, renowned fitness professional, is the Founder and President of Practical Fitness & Wellness.

He has over 18 years experience in the roles of management and operations and also as a renowned fitness professional.

Jason has certifications from The National Academy of Sports Medicine as a Personal Trainer, Corrective Exercise Specialist, Performance Enhancement Specialist, Senior Fitness Specialist and Youth Fitness Specialist. He is also certified by The American Council on Exercise, The National Strength and Conditioning Association and The United States Professional Tennis Association.

He is the Published Author of The Amazing Water Bottle Workout- No Gym? No Weights? No Problem! Which is currently available in print and on-line throughout the world and Real Life Fitness - The 8 Keys to a Strong, Powerful and Youthful Body!

Jason has appeared on NY1 and on CBS with Dr. Max Gomez. He has been a presenter for many organizations and companies, which include the Multiple Sclerosis Association on "exercise and the MS patient". Jason recently presented "21st Century Fitness – How To Improve Performance for Tennis and Life" at the prestigious West Side Tennis Club in Forest Hills, New York. Jason has appeared on the Frankie Boyer health/fitness radio show and has been featured in Penthouse magazine, GNC'S Well Bella magazine, the Washington Post and Examiner.com. Alex Greenspan

Alex Greenspan
Founder of Outreach Physical and Occupational Therapy and Speech Rehabilitation, PLLC.

Alex Greenspan received a B.S. in Exercise Physiology from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. Mr. Greenspan went on to earn a Masters in Science in Physical Therapy from Touro College in New York City and then furthered his education, receiving a certification in strength and conditioning training (CSCS).

Alex Greenspan is experienced with orthopedic injuries including ligament sprains and repairs, chronic-acute arthritis, osteoporosis and post surgical rehabilitation. He also treats neurological disorders including Parkinson's disease and Multiple Sclerosis.

   

Amy Baumgarten, Pilates Instructor

Amy received her Bachelor of Artsdegree from the University of Maryland in Dance Performance and Political Science. She received her Pilates certification from Dance New Amsterdam. As a comtemporarydancer she has explored different practices such as the Alexander Technique and the Feldenkrais method. Amy incorporates thesea pproaches into her Pilates sessions,which allows her to instill the body awarness needed to move with precision and control.

Mary Gillen, Yoga Instructor

Mary is a registered yoga instructor, certified by OM Yoga. She teaches a flowing, Vinyasa style yoga with attention to Iyengar alignment and mindfulness. She has studied yoga and holistic health at Jivamukti Yoga, the Omega Institute and the Kripalu Center. Mary received her BA from Hampshire College, where she majored in film. Mary was delighted to discover yoga as a counterbalance to stress and now enjoys sharing this incredible tool for well-being and self discovery with others.

   

Anna Lombardi, Yoga, Pilates and Dance Instructor

Anna Lombardi, originally from Italy, has worked extensively as a performer, choreographer and teacher throughout Europe and New York. She received her Pilates certification through Body Balance in 2002.

After many years of practicing yoga, Anna studied for her instructor’s certification under John Tamayo from Atmananda Yoga Sequence. She is now a registered Yoga Alliance teacher.

Drawing on her extensive dance, Pilates and yoga experience, Anna’s classes are geared to maximize the body's potential safely and effectively, with a particular attention to anatomical alignment, movement initiation, breath and flow.

Melissa O'Shea, Dietitian

Melissa is a Registered Dietician and has a masters of science from Columbia University. Experience in the clinical community as well as the research setting, Melissa has researched and developed a variety of educational materials for use in her practice. She has worked in the corporate setting conducting work site wellness programs and counseling employees. Melissa is an active contributor in the nutrition community and belongs to the American Dietetic Association, the Greater New York Dietetic Association and Nutrition Entrepreneurs.
